Foreign State Secretary Receives Swiss Delegation

Ulaanbaatar, May 21, 2024 /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ankhbayar Nyamdorj met with the Swiss delegation headed by the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal Assembly (Parliament) of Switzerland Laurent Wehrli on May 20, 2024.
At the meeting, State Secretary Ankhbayar highlighted that this
year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and
Switzerland, and noted plans for a widescale celebration of the historical
anniversary, and numerous measures for expanding cooperation and relations. The
State Secretary affirmed Mongolia’s readiness to strengthen bilateral relations
and cooperation within the scope of international organizations and organize
high-level visits between the two countries.
State Secretary Ankhbayar expressed gratitude for the programs
and projects implemented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, stating
that these projects have made vital contributions to strengthening democracy and
diversifying the Mongolian economy.
