Foreign Minister of Mongolia Meets Deputy Prime Minister of the Sultanate of Oman

Ulaanbaatar, February 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh meets Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said on February 19, 2025.
At the outset of the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg handed over a letter from President of Mongolia His Excellency Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to His Majesty the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq. The two parties discussed ways to cooperate in mining, agriculture, and energy for tangibly enriching bilateral relations with tangible content and implementing joint projects based on the similarities between the two countries. Specifically, the the two sides emphasized the possibilities of exporting meat, meat products, wool, and cashmere products from Mongolia to the Sultanate of Oman, while importing fish, dates, and dried fruits from the Sultanate of Oman to Mongolia.
Concurring that the talks between the heads of state are vital in advancing bilateral relations and cooperation, the two parties agreed to cooperate in implementing reciprocal high-level visits. The two parties also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg visited the Royal Opera House Muscat during the official visit to the Sultanate of Oman and agreed with the Omani side to collaborate in organizing concerts by the best Mongol opera singers and the Morin Khuur Philharmonic of Mongolia during high-level visits.
