President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Pays a Courtesy Call on President of Mongolia

Prague, March 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, who is on a State Visit to the Czech Republic on March 9-12, 2025.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa emphasized that cooperation between the legislative bodies of Mongolia and the Czech Republic holds high importance, as the two countries share common values, such as democracy, human rights, and freedom. President Khurelsukh also expressed commitment to deepening and expanding cooperation between the legislative bodies.
President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil hosted a lunch in honor of President Khurelsukh and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the expansion of cooperation between the parliamentary bodies of the two countries.
The Senate of the Czech Republic consists of 81 seats, with members elected for six-year terms. One-third of the Senate is elected every two years, with one senator chosen from each of the 27 senatorial districts.
