Mongolia to Introduce High-Efficacy Cancer Treatment Medication from Switzerland

Ulaanbaatar, May 1, 2025 / MONTSAME/. Beginning in May 2025, Mongolia will introduce a new Swiss medication that has shown high efficacy in treating breast and lung cancer.


The Ministry of Health of Mongolia, the "Hoffman-La Roche" company from Switzerland, and Mongolian companies "Kerry Mining" LLC, and "Monos Trade" LLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Under this Memorandum, Hoffman-La Roche's high-tech cancer therapy drugs "Phesgo," "Kadcyla," and "Alecensa" will be used in clinical practice for breast and lung cancer. These drugs have produced excellent results in patients with early-stage breast cancer and in those whose tumors have metastasized. They also offer the possibility of recovery during post-surgical chemotherapy.
