‘Mongolian Film Days 2019’ kicks off in Beijing

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In the framework of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China, an event ‘Mongolian Film Days’ kicked off in Beijing, China on December 1 as a part of the various commemorative cultural events being organized on both sides.


The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports selected 12 films from about 90 films produced in Mongolia in the last four years to the Ministry of Culture of PRC, from which the corresponding Chinese officials came to the decision to screen films such as ‘Remote Control’ (2015), ‘The Faith’ (2017), ‘Hers’ (2017), and ‘Warm Heart’ (2019) .


During the opening ceremony of the ‘Mongolian Film Days 2019’ event, Head of the Culture and Arts Policy Department of the Ministry B.Sergelen said, “In the framework of the Joint Declaration of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established between Mongolia and PRC, our two countries have mutually organized ‘Cultural Days’ events. I am confident that we will be able to further develop our partnership with China, the country which has great experience in promoting its history, culture, and development through film and arts.”
