Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In honor of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Poland, the ‘Mandala – Secret Tantric Temple’ exhibition of the Choijin Lama Temple Museum opened at the Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw, Poland, on July 7.

The exhibition opening was attended by over 100 people including Małgorzata Gosiewska, Deputy Marshal of the Polish Sejm, Marcin Przydacz, Undersecretary of State for Asia, Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, B.Dorj, Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland, Krzysztof Bojko, Ambassador of Poland to Mongolia, Witold Dzielski, Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs in the Chancellery of the President of Poland, heads of some diplomatic missions in Warsaw and Mongolians living in the country.

The Embassy of Mongolia in Poland says that mounting the exhibition in Warsaw was made possible by the support and efforts of D.Otgonsuren, Director of the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, Joanna Wasilewska, Director of the Asia and Pacific Museum, as well as the staff of the two museums.

The Polish side also notes that the exhibition becomes the first major event to be held jointly in the field of foreign affairs in the country since the Covid-19 lockdown. Opening the exhibition just before the traditional Naadam Festival of Mongolia signifies that the Polish side attaches great importance to the 70-year-old diplomatic ties between the two countries.
