New Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces appointed

President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga forwarded his proposal to appoint
Major General A.Ganbat to the position of Chief of the General Staff of the
Mongolian Armed Forces for consultation with the Parliament. The proposal was
discussed and approved during a meeting of the corresponding Parliamentary
Standing Committee and the plenary session of the Parliament on March 22.
In
accordance with Section 8 of Article 13 of the Law on the President of Mongolia
and Clause 10 of Section 1 of Article 11 of the Law on the Armed Forces of
Mongolia, President Battulga issued a decree to appoint Ganbat Ayush as the
Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces on the same day.
