Mongolia extracted 839.7 thousand barrels of oil

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of June 10, Mongolia extracted 839.7 thousand barrels of oil and exported 740.2 thousand barrels,  reports the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry.


This year, Mongolia expected to produce and export 6.6 million barrels of crude oil in total. Export plan is running with 11 percent  performance over the first five months of this year. Moreover, income worth MNT 335.6 billion is planned to be accumulated to the state budget this year from petroleum export and its fulfillment is 11.4 percent currently.


“Petro China Daqing Tamsag” Company is making export through Bayankhoshuu border point while “Dongsheng Petroleum Mongol” Company is exporting by railroad. Railroad export has not been interrupted in the past. While export through Bayankhoshuu border crossing has interrupted for a certain period of time, but it has revived gradually. There is no barrier for the export, Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia informs. Oil demand has decreased due to the pandemic in the past.
