Foreign Minister meets UAE Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Mongolia Abdullah Al-Tuneiji on June 21 to discuss cooperation between the two countries.
Minsiter B.Battsetseg expressed satisfaction with the deepening relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Emirates and mentioned Mongolia is working towards opening its embassy in Abu Dhabi. Underlining that the two countries have been cooperating under the United Nations and other international organizations, the Foreign Minister extended congratulations on the country’s election as a non-permanent member to the UN Security Council.
Ambassador Abdullah Al-Tuneiji handed over a letter sent from UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the meeting. Moreover, the Ambassador expressed his anticipation for the opening of Mongolian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and asked for Mongolia’s participation in the Dubai Expo.
