Mongolia and France Agreed to Advance Relations to Strategic Partnership

Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Catherine
Colonna held official talks in Paris and agreed to advance
the relations between the two countries to a strategic partnership.
The
Foreign Ministers noted that the Heads of State of the two countries made mutual
State Visits for the first time this year which produced results in a short
period of time and they confirmed that they would vigorously push forward the
issues agreed upon.
The
Foreign Ministers signed the Action Plan on Cooperation between Mongolia and the
French Republic, aimed at expanding the Privileged
Partnership between Mongolia and France into a Strategic Partnership.
The Action
Plan on Cooperation
is a road map that indicates directions and sectors to be focused on in
2023-2028 within the framework of the Joint Declaration approved by the Heads
of State of the two countries on May 21, 2023. The document is comprised of 8 chapters
and 56 clauses:

2. Trade, economics and investment
3. Agriculture
4. Mining and energy
5. Sustainable development and regional cooperation
6. Science and technology
7. People-to-people relations,
education, culture and archeology
