Ulaanbaatar, December 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Health Chinburen Jigjidsuren visited the Children’s Consultative Polyclinic of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH) on December 10, 2025.

According to the Ministry of Health, the polyclinic receives 1,000-1,200 child patients daily, with most cases involving common pediatric conditions in neurology, cardiology, and otorhinolaryngology.

During the flu season, respiratory and digestive clinics experience higher patient loads, while overall visits nearly double when school holidays begin.

Polyclinic Director E. Narantsatsral reported that preparations are underway to expand service coverage and increase staffing during peak periods.

The facility currently provides 14 types of outpatient consultations and 12 types of diagnostic services. Renovation work is ongoing to open a day-surgery unit in 2026.

Appointment bookings are made in advance through 7611-2180 and 1800-0119, helping families avoid long queues and reduce the risk of infection.

The six-story extension of the Children’s Consultative Polyclinic opened in September 2025 and now delivers comprehensive, specialized outpatient and diagnostic services for children up to the age of 18.
