Bandy team takes 4th place in B division of World Championship
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national team of Mongolian for bandy has come to the 4th place in the Bandy World Championship's “B” division. The events were concluded on Sunday in Ulyanovsk of Russia.
Mongolia was defeated by the Ukrainians at the bronze medal match with scores 6:5 in the extra-time period.
In the preliminary rounds, Mongolia won against Japan, China, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. In the knock-out stage, Mongolia reached the 4/1 after defeating the Netherlands’ team. In the semi-final, Mongolia lost to Hungary.
The Germans won in the “B” division, being promoted to the “A” division.
