Standardization Organizations of Mongolia and Turkey to collaborate
ВидеоAt the initiative of Turkish Standards Institution, the 27th conference of General Assembly of the Interregional Standardization Association is taking place on April 18-19 in Ulaanbaatar. The forum is attended by delegations from more than 40 countries.
In frame of the 27th conference, Head of the Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology G.Gantumur and President of Turkish Standards Institution Sebahittin Korkmaz signed an action plan of collaboration in 2018-2022.
Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin attended the signing ceremony and he wished success in further cooperation of Standardization Organizations of Mongolia and Turkey and activity of the 27th conference of General Assembly of the Interregional Standardization Association.
Standardization Organizations of the two countries have planned to take various actions in coming 4 years including supporting Mongolian manufacturers to export their goods to European Union, facilitating trade and goods exchange, establishing a joint team in charge of monitoring measurement standards that meet industrial requirements of the two countries and conducting trainings and implementing programs for capacity development in directions of standardization, accreditation, inspection, certification and metrology.
