Runners to compete in Ultra-marathon world championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian athletes will for the first time participate in the 50km ultra-marathon world championship that will be held this December 5 in Doha of Qatar.

The events will be organized by the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) and are supposed to attract some 300 athletes from 20 countries. Mongolia will be represented by B.Dorjpalam IMS, a former national record holder for 50km marathon; G.Khishigsaikhan MS; D.Badamkhatan IMS, the national record holder for 100km marathon; L.Lhagva MS; and by B.Aldarmaa, the national champion for 12-hour running.
