Southeast Asian members of WB and IMF convene teleconference

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 3, World Bank and the
International Monetary Fund convened a teleconference of their Southeast Asian
members to support information exchange on the countries’ measures against
COVID-19.
Officials of the Ministry of Finance led by Minister
Ch.Khurelbaatar took part in the conference, sharing information on the current
social and economic situation in Mongolia as well as the set of actions being
taken against the pandemic.
Moreover, representatives of the Asian Development Bank, International
Finance Corporation, and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and conference participants - Finance Ministers
and central bank governors of 15 countries including Japan, South Korea, China,
Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia – discussed opportunities for joint efforts.
