Solar and wind power plant to be built in Altai soum

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind
power plant will be commissioned this year in Altai soum of Gobi-Altai aimag.
Although solar PV station was put into operation in 2010 in
the soum, its battery storage has expired. Therefore, the construction work of 450kW
solar PV and 200kW wind hybrid plant is ready to start with the ADB’s funding
worth USD 92 thousand.
In addition, Governor’s Office building, hospital extension,
standard street and sports hall will be commissioned this year with the state
and local budget investments.
