GIZ Director for Asia visits German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology

Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a co-implementer of the
joint project German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT)
Ms. Kerstin Nagels has visited at the campus. She was accompanied by the GIZ
Country Director in Mongolia, Daniel Passon, and Program Director of GMIT-GIZ
project, Dr. Frank Wulkopf, and Professor of Brandenburg University of
Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Rainer Herd.
During the official meeting, Rector Prof. B. Battsengel
presented the university and had an open discussion with Ms. Nagels along with
the rectorate and professors. The issues of sustainable development, the main
activities, and research of the GMIT to be implemented in the further were
discussed. Her visit has coincided with the 30th anniversary of the GIZ in
Mongolia. After the meeting, Ms. Nagels discussed with the representatives of
the GMIT students about their study environment and the campus.
