Mongolia and India to Leverage the Strategic Partnership to Expand Relations in All Sectors

Ulaanbaatar, October 18, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai met Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar during his visit to Pakistan and exchanged views on cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene
once again thanked India for having donated the first packages of vaccines to Mongolia
during the difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The parties expressed their satisfaction at the significant progress
of the construction of the Oil Refinery, an important project for the
cooperation between Mongolia and India, and agreed to keep on cooperating closely
to put the oil refinery into operation within the planned period.
Expressing the intent to solemnly celebrate the 70th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two
countries in 2025, the Prime Minister of Mongolia and the Foreign Minister of India
concurred to leverage the Strategic Partnership to expand relations between
Mongolia and India in all sectors.
