Ulaanbaatar, January 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The “AMAR BAINA UU 2026” trade and exhibition fair will open on January 17 at the Ikh Nayad and Soyolj Mall shopping centers.

According to research, Mongolians spend MNT 1.3 trillion on Mongolian Lunar New Year needs, of which more than 70 percent goes to imported products and flows abroad. To keep this money in the domestic economy, increase economic circulation, and support and cooperate with national producers, the fair will be held from January 17 to February 17, 2026.

Initiated by the Governor of the Capital City and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, the “AMAR BAINA UU 2026” fair will bring together more than 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from 21 aimags and districts, offering more than 50 types of products. No rental fees will be charged to SME participants, and factory prices will be offered.

At last year’s fair, participating enterprises recorded total sales of MNT 54.8 billion.
