Mongolian citizens in Poland to be insured to get pension
Yesterday, May 10, in its regular meeting, the cabinet backed draft intergovernmental agreement of Mongolia and Republic of Poland on Social Protection and entitled Minister N.Nomtoibayar to sign the agreement, if the relevant Standing Committee of Parliament supports it.
Mongolian citizens, who reside in Poland, purchase short term social insurance that allows them to get benefits related to health and employment. However, there is no legal basis that enables Mongolians to register for pension insurance and to be repaid when they return to motherland or get a pension when they are retired.
