OT Underground Development forum taking place
Economy | MiningUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A forum of suppliers for the Oyu Tolgoi Underground Mine Development is being held at the Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Some 600 companies from 29 countries are taking part in this forum, sharing information and discussing cooperation.
Guests include some influential people, such as the CEO of Oyu Tolgoi Andrew Woodley, CEO of Erdenes Mongola B.Byambasaikhan, Managing Director at Rio Tinto for Iron Ore and Copper Project Steve Felice and the supply managers of the underground development.
This forum aims at providing information on underground development project of Oyu Tolgoi, discovering potential suppliers, facilitating Mongolian and international companies to collaborate, ensuring transparency in selecting the underground development suppliers, and at advertizing the basic principles of supplying to the major project.
