Kh.Khas-Erdene included in judges’ panel in Rio 2016 Olympics
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A three-star referee Kh.Khas-Erdene of Mongolia has been qualified to judge the boxing event at the forthcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
A decision of the qualification for judges was made by the International Boxing Association (AIBA) during the 2016 APB and WSB Olympic Qualifier held on July 3-8 in Vargas, Venezuela.
Khas-Erdene is the second Mongolian to judge the boxing competitions at the Olympics after S.Bayasgalan who refereed at 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics.
As of today, three Mongolians including Khas-Erdene have been included in judges’ panels at the 2016 Olympics in judo, boxing and freestyle wrestling events.
