Over thousand construction products presented at Barilga Expo 2017

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ With an aim to promote advanced technologies of construction sector and encourage material producers, an international trade fair “Barilga Expo 2017” took place at Misheel Expo between May 5 and 7.
More than 7 hundred entities are currently engaged in the domestic industry of construction materials, which is valued at around MNT 1 trillion. And around 80 leading companies such as “Top window”, MT and MMS have participated and presented more than thousand products such as tar paper and insulation materials at the expo. One of the highlights was the insulation materials of Shunyada LLC where they’re giving 50 years of guarantee on their products.
Also, “Gurvan Maral Group” is supplying polystyrene sheet, lightweight concrete blocs, pink and green mastic, floor patching compound, tile adhesive, washed sand and cement mortar by using high quality raw materials of China. One of the advantages of the company is that they prepare polystyrene sheets in the purchaser’s desired sizes and deliver them directly to the construction site.
Partnering with over 150 companies, Gurvan Maral Group supply their products through construction material retails such as “Nomin Standard”, “Hermes Center, “BIG” shopping center and "100 ail" construction market.
Last year, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with a German company "Wacker Chemie AG" to establish laboratory to advance construction materials in Mongolia. In order to train the workforce required for the laboratory, some employers were sent to Wacker Chemie AG as an intern.
