Deficit of total balance decreases

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first 7 month of 2017, total revenue and grants of the General Government Budget amounted to MNT 3.9 trillion and total expenditure and net lending amounted to MNT 4.5 trillion, representing a deficit of MNT 589.4 billion in the balance.
Deficit of total balance decreased by 1.4 trillion compared to the same period of the previous year The tax revenue reached MNT 3.4 trillion showing an increase by MNT 701.5 billion (26.4%) compared to the same period of the previous year. This growth was mainly affected by increases in value added taxes by MNT 260.4 billion, 43.7% income taxes amounted by MNT 305.1 billion (17.1% ), other taxes by MNT 48.0 billion (17.1%), import and export tax by MNT 103.2 billion (64.2%) and security contributions by MNT 63.9 billion (9.9%). However there was a decrease in excise taxes by 26.4% and MNT 88.0 billion
