Attendees for Mongolia @PDAC 2018 exceeds 200 this year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The annual Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention is taking place on March 4-7 in Toronto, Canada. Mongolian delegates led by Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D.Sumiyabazar and Head of Responsible Mining Lobby Group in Parliament and Member of Parliament A.Undraa are partaking in the convention.
Number of attendees for ‘Mongolia @PDAC 2018’ or ‘Investors Forum in Mongolia’ exceeded 200 this year which holds during the convention. The increased number of investors interested in Mongolia shows restoring trust for investing to Mongolia, concluded specialists. The convention noted that Mongolia is a country that still having much opportunity to make success for investors in exploring mineral resources.
Mongolian people are intending to reach sustainable development, receiving profit from natural wealth. To ensure this intention we need to have long term, mutually beneficial cooperation established with our investors, emphasized Minister D.Sumyabazar. “Mongolian government holds biggest mines. We are working to put these mines into economic circulation, attract investment from international market and introduce effective management for wealth fund.”
Within the framework of his working visit to Canada, Minister D.Sumiyabazar held bilateral meeting with Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of International Trade of Canada Pamela Goldsmith-Jones.
Ms. Pamela Goldsmith-Jones noted the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada where she said to focus attention in deepening bilateral ties in future.
The Ministerial working visit to Canada is continuing.
