Equipment providing project to neonatal units of Gobi region launches

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Energy Resources LLC and ‘Save Infants’ non-profit organization (NPO) jointly launched a program for providing necessary equipment to neonatal units of hospitals in Gobi regional aimags. Funding of the project worth of MNT 370 million was officially handed over by Energy Resources LLC today.
“2018 is becoming a special year for our company. We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ukhaa Khudag project, which is being run by Mongolian youths. Within the anniversary, we decided to focus our attention on social issues. In particular, our company donated over MNT 700 million to the project by Lantuun Dokhio LLC a month ago. We are glad at spending a total of MNT 1 billion for protecting health and rights of children,” said G.Battsengel, Executive Director of Energy Resources LLC.
In the framework of
the project, some 10 necessary equipment will be provided to each neonatal
intensive care units of general hospitals in Umnugobi, Dundgobi, Dornogobi and
Gobisumber aimags The work will be
continued till the spring of 2019.
‘Save Infants’ NPO has been operating for the 10th year in improving medical services to children of Mongolia. Since 2009, it has successfully implemented about 10 projects with the help of its members and supporters.
