Rank of Academician conferred

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decree
of President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, some scientists received the
rank of Academician at the State Palace today.
With the purpose of
recognizing the contribution of scientists to the development of science and
technology in Mongolia and the world, honoring the members of the Academy of
Sciences, and rewarding academic work, the President of Mongolia has been
conferring the rank of Academician upon scholars, who were elected as members
of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, since 2005.
In this regard, the Mongolian
Academy of Sciences held a meeting of its General Assembly on December 13th,
2018, and B.Avid (PhD), B.Burmaajav (PhD), S.Demberel (PhD), S.Chuluun (PhD),
O.Chuluunbaatar (PhD), R.Shadgarsuren (PhD), and Kh.Enkhjargal (PhD) were
elected as members of the Academy.
Based on a proposal of the
Mongolian Academy of Sciences, President Battulga thus conferred the rank of
Academician upon the said scientists today.
