Transport Minister pledges to improve social issues of heavy truck drivers

Minister of Road and Transportation Development B.Enkh-Amgalan worked in
Umnugobi aimag to introduce localities about government measures to be taken
very soon and hear their opinions.
During his visit to the aimag, the Minister saw the mining operation of Erdenes Tavantolgoi JSC and constructional work of ‘New Railway’ project and assigned some tasks to corresponding officials.
Furthermore, the Minister got acquainted with conditions of ‘Gashuunsukhait’
border checkpoint, constructional work of ‘Teeverchdiin Khotkhon (Town for
transporters)’ and ‘Tsagaan Khad’ customs control zone, where he expressed his
commitment to pay more attention on improving working conditions and social
issue of heavy-truck drivers and on conducting safe transport.
