Apartments to be leased to citizens

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On June 5, the Cabinet made a decision to transfer 1542-household apartments built in Ulaanbaatar city, Orkhon, Khuvsgul and Gobi-Altai aimags under the rental apartment funds and lease them to citizens according to relevant regulations.
According to the study of corresponding ministry, there are over 300 thousand households who need to improve their housing condition throughout the country. Of them, 35 thousand households who are eligible to be involved in mortgage, but remaining 77 thousand households are necessary to be involved in rental apartment program as they are likely to be disqualified for mortgage loan requirements.
At the meeting dated April
10, 2019 the Cabinet issued a regulation, which gives an opportunity to tenants
to own their renting flats after a certain period.
