the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Ya.Erdenesaikhan on August
6 met with a delegation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The KOICA
representatives showed their willingness to cooperate in the development of cooperation
between the two countries and prioritize agriculture and small and medium
industry from 2021. Views were exchanged in particular on implementing projects
and programs in production and value adding of agricultural products.
Processing
agricultural products and manufacturing value added products is the ultimate
goal of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry. Discussing possibilities
for carrying out projects on such development in Sukhbaatar aimag’s industry
technology park, the sides agreed to officially submit the proposals to KOICA and
the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia within this year.
