FRC inducted as vice-chair of ECAPI Expert Group on Financial Inclusion Policy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the 6th Meeting of Eastern Europe
and Central Asia Initiative (ECAPI) Experts Group on Financial Inclusion Policy
(EGFIP), virtually organized by the Central Bank of Armenia and the Alliance for
Financial Inclusion (AFI), the Financial Regulatory Commission
of Mongolia (FRC) has been inducted as the vice-chair of the expert group.

V.Enkhbaatar said at the meeting that the FRC will work to further expand
cooperation and fulfill its functions set out in the regional policy and
strategy for financial inclusion. Also, Director of Financial Education
Division M.Ulziibat gave a presentation on ‘Current State of Financial
Education in Mongolia, Pressing Issues’.
ECAPI was launched in 2018 to increase financial inclusion
in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, protect customer rights, and improve
regional financial education. It is comprised of relevant organizations of Mongolia,
Russia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
