This July Number of Passengers Totals 108,929 on 1077 Flights

Ulaanbaatar, July 18, 2023 /MONTSAME/. On July 1-16 "Buyant-Ukhaa"
International Airport had 13 international flights and 129 local flights.
Of these, 13 were emergency,
29 special duty, 10 ambulance, 44 general purpose, 26 practice, 5 ferry, 14 examination,
and 1 order flights. In addition, 287 requests for selection as a reserve
airport were received and the readiness was duly ensured.
"Chinggis Khaan"
International Airport served 86,815 passengers on 595 international flights on
July 1-16. As for local flights, 22,114 passengers were served on 340 local
routes. The total number of flights was 935, and the number of passengers amounted
108,929.
Also, during the National
Naadam Festival or on July 7-16, the number of transit flights reached 1238,
which exceeds by 501 flights or 68 percent higher than the same period of the last
year.
