Mongolian Students Pick Up the Mongol Jaw Harp

Ulaanbaatar, April 21, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Over 1,500 children and young people visited the “Nomadic Rhythm: Jaw Harp” Exhibition, which was on display at the National Museum of Mongolia from April 9 to April 18, 2025.
Students visiting the Exhibition were accompanied by their teachers and fellow classmates, as the visit was part of the general education school curriculum and planned events.
Going forward, content on the Mongol Jaw Harp will be included in general education textbooks, schools will be provided with jaw harps, and teachers will be trained in collaboration with the Mongolian Nomadic Jew’s Harp Society.
The “Nomadic Rhythm: Jaw Harp” Exhibition was initiated by the National Museum of Mongolia and jointly organized by the Mongolian Nomadic Jew’s Harp Society.
