Minister of Education of Mongolia Participates in World Digital Education Conference in Wuhan

Ulaanbaatar, May 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On May 15, 2025, Minister of Education of Mongolia Naranbayar Purevsuren participated in the World Digital Education Conference under the theme “Education Development and Transformation: The Era of Intelligence,” taking place in Wuhan, the People’s Republic of China, to exchange insights on global educational trends and innovations. 

On the sidelines of the Conference, Minister Naranbayar held a meeting with President of Wuhan Sports University Chen Jiping. The two sides exchanged views on the progress and future prospects of the cooperation between the School of Physical Education under the Mongolian National University of Education and the Wuhan Sports University. The two sides noted that a friendly sports competition between the students of the two universities is planned to be organized this year.

During the Conference, Minister Naranbayar visited an exhibition presenting the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field of artificial intelligence and their application in education. 

The Conference serves as a global platform for addressing key challenges in the field of education, promoting digital transformation, and facilitating the sharing of international best practices. Discussions cover the effective integration of digital technologies and solutions across all dimensions of education, including teaching, learning, management, assessment, and research.

The Conference brought together representatives from more than 70 countries, including public officials, delegates from the United Nations and other international organizations, ambassadors, digital technology experts, academic researchers, and representatives from both general and vocational education institutions.
