Foreign Minister of Mongolia to Pay an Official Visit to the Republic of the Philippines

Ulaanbaatar, May 19, 2025 / MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines Enrique A. Manalo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh will pay an official visit to the Republic of the Philippines on May 18–20, 2025.
This will be the first official visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia to the Republic of the Philippines since 1984, and is the reciprocal visit to the official visit by Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo to Mongolia in 2024.
During the official visit, Foreign Minister Battsetseg will pay courtesy calls on the President of the Republic of the Philippines and the President of the Senate of the Republic of the Philippines, hold official talks with Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo, and issue a joint statement.
The main goal of the official visit is to expand friendly relations and cooperation with the Republic of the Philippines, which is an influential ASEAN member, intensify political dialogue, strengthen cooperation between the two foreign ministries, and exchange views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
