Mongolian Students Win Two Bronze Medals at International Geography Olympiad

Ulaanbaatar, August 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 21st International Geography Olympiad was held in Bangkok, the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand on July 27-31, 2025.
The Mongolian Team successfully participated in the International Geography Olympiad, earning two bronze medals. Previously, Mongolian students had won silver and bronze medals at the Olympiads held in China in 2016 and Belgrade in 2017.
After an eight-year gap in winning medals, the streak was resumed by N. Naraa, an 11th-grade student at New Era International School of Mongolia, and A. Amina, an 11th-grade student at Goethe International School of Mongolia.
The Mongolian Team was led by Professor of the Department of Geography at the National University of Mongolia, V. Battsengel, along with Lecturer of the National University of Mongolia, Ts. Tsendsuren.
