Poland Expresses Intention to Increase Tourist Arrivals to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, September 5, 2025 /MONTSAME/. President of the Polish Media Association, Marek Traczyk, has highlighted that the Republic of Poland has launched a dedicated section on its national travel website introducing Mongolia, promoting tourism opportunities, and publishing travel blogs, photos, and information about the country.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia, the Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of Poland, and the Mongolian Tourism Association’s European market branch, a delegation of the Republic of Poland is visiting Mongolia. The delegation includes Deputy Director of Business Development at ITAKA travel company, Katarzyna Bankowska, Senior Project Manager of Groups and Incentives at RAINBOW, Magdalena Dybczynska, President of the Management Board of NEKERA, Maciej Nekiel, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Art Director of National Geographic Poland, Agnieszka Franus, and CEO of INTIMATES TEAM, Katarzyna Pyszynska, along with renowned actors and influencers of the Republic of Poland.
During the visit, Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia, Undram Chinbat, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland, Oyundari Navaan-Yunden, Adviser to the Minister on Tourism Issues, Zolbadral Batmunkh, Director-General of the Tourism Policy Implementation Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Mongolia, V. Batchimeg, and Vice President of the Mongolian Tourism Association for Market Affairs, V. Batzorig, received the delegation. The officials discussed measures to increase the number of Polish tourists to Mongolia, which has declined by 28 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels, and agreed to cooperate in boosting group tourism flows.
In 2024, Mongolia received only 1,080 tourists from Poland, the lowest figure in recent years.
