Ulaanbaatar City and Jeollanam-do Province Sign MoU

Ulaanbaatar, September 5, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation has been signed between Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, and Jeollanam-do Province of the Republic of Korea.


The document was signed by Deputy Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development, and Air and Environmental Pollution, Amartuvshin Amgalanbayar, and the Governor of Jeollanam-do Province, Kim Yung-rok. Within the framework of the MoU, the parties will cooperate in trade, agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, education, culture, and tourism, based on the principles of mutual benefit and equality.


Mongolia and the Republic of Korea established diplomatic relations on March 26, 1990, and this year marks the 35th anniversary of the partnership. The two countries have since developed a broad-based relationship, which has grown into a historically and strategically important partnership.
