MNUMS Central Hospital Introduces ISO 7101:2023 Standard

Ulaanbaatar, September 23, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Central Hospital of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) has become the first healthcare institution in Mongolia to implement the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 7101:2023 Healthcare Organization Management standard.
The Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI), an international accreditation body authorized to certify compliance with 16 international standards, conducted an on-site assessment at the Central Hospital on May 12-14, 2025. The hospital implemented the experts’ recommendations within two months.
As a result, the MNUMS Central Hospital has successfully passed the evaluation under the new ISO 7101:2023 criteria and received its official certification.
