Ulziisaikhan Luvsandorj Assumes Office as Secretary General of Parliament

Ulaanbaatar, December 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. During its plenary session, the
State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia relieved Baasandorj Baasandorj from
the duties of Secretary General of Parliament and appointed Doctor of Law,
Professor, and Honored Lawyer, Dr. Ulziisaikhan Luvsandorj, to the post.
Former Secretary General Baasandorj,
together with members of the leadership team of the Parliamentary Secretariat,
congratulated newly appointed Secretary General Ulziisaikhan and ceremonially
handed over the official seal of the Secretariat. He noted that he was pleased
to transfer his duties to a highly qualified legal expert who had previously
headed the Parliamentary Secretariat, was well acquainted with the specific
nature of Parliament, and had served as a member of the Constitutional Court, and
extended his best wishes for success.
Secretary General Ulziisaikhan
expressed appreciation for the successful launch of the first session of the
126-member Parliament, established following the 2023 amendments to the
Constitution of Mongolia, and expressed her gratitude.
Dr. Ulziisaikhan, Professor of
Law, has taught at the Law Schools of the Mongolian National University of
Education and the National University of Mongolia since 1998. She has held
senior positions at the Parliamentary Secretariat, the Judicial General
Council, the Capital City Administrative Court of First Instance, and the
Cabinet Secretariat. Ulziisaikhan previously served as Secretary General of
Parliament from 2019 to 2023, after which she was appointed as a member of the
Constitutional Court. She is recognized as a seasoned public servant and
distinguished legal expert.
