Indian Ambassador to Mongolia Presents Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, April 26, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia Atul Malhari Gotsurve presented his Letter of Credence to President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa on April 26, 2024.


President Khurelsukh congratulated and wished success to Ambassador A.M. Gotsurve on his new appointment and expressed satisfaction with the deepening “Strategic Partnership” relations between Mongolia and its “Spiritual Neighbour” India. President noted that Mongolia and India have maintained diplomatic relations for over seven decades, and the two peoples have had historical, cultural, and religious ties since ancient times.


President expressed confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador would exert his every effort to enrich relations and cooperation with new content, strengthen political relations, and successfully implement major projects and programs, which will be a testament to the bilateral cooperation, particularly facilitating the commissioning of the Oil Refinery Plant on schedule. 

 

Ambassador A.M. Gotsurve expressed commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries, expanding cooperation in security, defense, mining, digital communication, education, and humanity, and paying special attention to the commissioning of the Oil Refinery Plant. 


The 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and India will be celebrated in 2025.
