Over 3 900 young people want to visit Mongolia for the 7th Model ASEM of youths
视频More than 150 young people from 51 foreign countries are taking part in the 7th Model ASEM of youths entitled “20 years of ASEM: Partnership for Future through Connectivity”, kicked off on Thursday in the Central Youth Palace of Ulaanbaatar.
At this forum, the young people from different countries are discussing the youth participation in the political, economic, social and cultural affairs of Eurasian countries. Conclusions made by them will be submitted to ASEM Summit.
Before this, Mongolia has hosted an international youth meeting which took place last year. This year’s forum is requiring more responsibility and creativity from youth as their voices will be sounded to the state leaders. For this reason the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr L.Purevsuren has participated in the opening of the 7th Model ASEM of youths and wished the youth to address challenges of regional scale and find out the best solutions drawing global attention to their initiatives.
The President of Mongolian Youth Association Mr A.Munkhbat said that Mongolian youth has prepared for them an interesting program for introducing their country
By the way, more than 3 900 young people applied to join the 7th Model ASEM of youths, out of whom only 100 best young people were admitted. Mongolia is represented by 51 young people.
