BoM holds FX auction
Daily FinanceUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held Thursday, the Bank of Mongolia (BOM) received ask offers of USD 6.8 million in a rate between MNT 1971.50-1977.16, bid offers of USD 4.0 million in a rate between 1988.00-1989.00 and ask offers of CNY 5.0 million in a rate with MNT 305.50 respectively. The BOM did not accept any offers.
The Bank received MNT Swap agreement bid offers equivalent to USD 72.5 million and USD swap agreement ask offers equivalent to USD 20.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the MNT swap agreement bid offers of USD 72.5 million.
