NEMA officers sent off to UNMISS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) sends 26 officers to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

The send-off ceremony for the peacekeepers was held on August 29, Tuesday. NEMA Director, Major General T.Badral said at the ceremony, “You must be physically and mentally well-prepared for this one year ahead. The agency is proud of you”.

The NEMA has consistently partaken in UN peacekeeping missions since 2012. More than 240 NEMA officers have been part of peacekeeping missions until now.

First Lieutenant J.Khash-Erdene, Chief of the team and physician at the Search-and-Rescue Division of the Rescue Unit of the NEMA was presented with the national flag and banner of the NEMA at the ceremony.
