Finance Minister discusses COVID-19 vaccine-related issues with Russian Ambassador
PoliticsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On December 7, Minister of Finance
Ch.Khurelbaatar, as a head of the Working Group responsible for COVID-19
vaccine procurement of Mongolia, held a meeting with the Russian Ambassador to
Mongolia I.K. Azizov.
During the meeting, the Finance Minister inquired about the
cost of Sputnik-V vaccine, its supply, and the progress of mass vaccination in
Russia.
The Ambassador said that the Sputnik-V vaccine could be
supplied to Mongolia at a lower price and from two nearest sources.
According to the Ambassador, the mass vaccination in Moscow
began last week, and the vaccine’s registration procedure with the World Health
Organization is in full swing.
