COVID-19 detected after third repeated testing
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Yesterday, 216 people were tested at
three laboratories nationwide. Among them, one person was tested positive for
the novel coronavirus, said D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center for
Communicable Diseases at today's daily press briefing of the Ministry of Health.
A Mongolian citizen, who was repatriated from Kazakhstan on
June 10, was tested positive for the virus as a result of his third repeated
testing or after 19 days. Specifically, the citizen’s first and second tests,
dated June 11 and June 22, were negative.
As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
the country has reached 220, of them 175 patients have recovered. Now, 45
patients are undergoing the treatment at the NCCD.
