Street next to Choijin Lama Temple Museum named after L.TudevSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on June 30, the presidium of Ulaanbaatar city council decided to name the 262 m street connecting Jamyan Gun street and P.Genden street on the west side of Choijin Lama Temple Museum in the 1st subdistrict of Sukhbaatar district after late Hero of Labor, People’s Writer, journalist of the century Tudev Lodon. It had been decided on May 12 to make the street car-free and landscaping works are underway in the street.
The presidium also decided to convene the 11th plenary meeting of the council on July 3 to discuss dismissals of some council members and changes to the presidium.
Incidentally, over 160 of more than 240 streets in Ulaanbaatar have names.
