Novelist G.Mend-Ooyoo to receive Chingis Khaan’s Order
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Pursuant to a decree of the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj, the Order of Chingis Khaan will be awarded to a novelist and poet G.Mend-Ooyoo.
A decision of the Order’s granting was informed during a press conference on Friday in the Civil Hall, the State House.
On occasion of the Birthday of Chingis Khaan--Day of Mongolian Glory, the Order of Chingis Khaan is granted to a person who significantly contributed to strengthening the country’s independence, sovereignty and national unity, studying the history of statehood, culture and tradition and inheriting them to the next generation.
