Ambassador to Mongolia Present Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, October 3, 2025 /MONTSAME/.State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, concurrently accredited to Mongolia, and received a copy of his Letter of Credence on October 2, 2025.


At the beginning of the meeting, State Secretary Munkhtushig congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Mongolia, noting the long-standing history of diplomatic relations, and upon presenting the copy of his Letter of Credence, wished him success in his duties. He also noted the successful organization of the Mongolian-Iranian Foreign Ministries’ Consultative Meeting held in Tehran in May of this year, emphasizing the broad potential to expand and develop bilateral cooperation. In particular, he highlighted interest in continuing collaboration with the Iranian side in protecting and restoring historical and cultural heritage, safeguarding intangible cultural heritage, establishing cooperation between museums, and organizing joint exhibitions.


Ambassador Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli expressed his pleasure at being appointed as Ambassador concurrently accredited to Mongolia, stating his commitment to enriching bilateral relations and cooperation with substantive content and emphasizing his intent to pay special attention to and actively cooperate in the development of collaboration in transport, tourism, culture, and humanitarian sectors.
