Temperatures dropped to -55 Celsius
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, a maximum precipitation was registered 11.2 mm in Bayantes soum of Zavkhan aimag. Jinst soum of Bayankhongor aimag had the highest air temperature (+13.0°C), while Tsetsen-Uul soum of Zavkhan aimag--the lowest as -55.0°C in February of 2016.
Last month, as measured by over 10 air quality monitoring stations, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide exceeded 18-29 times, dust content with less than 2.5 micron--24-28 times, and dust content with less than 10 micron--22- 29 times in the atmosphere of Ulaanbaatar.
